Venezuela has been in the cross-hairs of US imperialism for decades, including harsh and severe sanctions and six coup attempts. The US has even outrageously kidnapped Venezuelan diplomat Alex Saab in Cape Verde. He is now held in a Miami jail for the “crime” of importing food past the US blockade. Nonetheless, Venezuela has made great gains in making life better for the people as they build their Bolivarian revolution.
