Join JVP Twin Cities and friends as we hold space to mourn Awdah Hathaleen, a beloved Palestinian teacher, activist, and friend who was murdered by an Israeli settler in his village of Um Al-Khair in late July. Together we will grieve and take action in his honor.

The same system of occupation and apartheid that killed Awdah is being supported by our city. We will call on Mayor Frey and city council to cut the city’s contract with ZenCity, an Israeli surveillance company.

We will gather on Wednesday, August 13th at 6pm at the people’s plaza outside of Minneapolis City Hall.
