BOYCOTT is a 2021 documentary film that looks at the cases of a publisher, an attorney and a teacher whose careers were threatened by the harsh measures of anti-boycott laws…. Boycotts have long been a tool used by Americans rallying for political change, from civil rights leaders to anti-apartheid activists. In recent years, over 30 states have introduced anti-apartheid legislation designed to penalize individuals undertaking boycotts against Israel….The film looks at shifting politics and threats to freedom of speech.
