Anakbayan Twin Cities is hosting our first event! Join us for a screening of “Palayain! The Filipino People’s Fight for Peace” on Sunday, December 21st from 6-8 PM at New City Center (3104 16th Ave S, MPLS)

We will be showing “Act 1: War”, the first act of a four-part documentary series made by BAYAN USA as part of the U.S. Out of the Philippines campaign. The film investigates the impact of U.S. militarism across the Philippines, through the voices of peasant farmers, indigenous fisherfolk, women, people of faith, and youth.

Come ready for discussion! This will be a potluck-style event, so bring something to share if you can. Masks are mandatory when not eating/drinking. We will also be fundraising for typhoon relief!
