Deportation vans enter there with detained individuals to detention/immigration court which takes place in the Bishop Whipple Building.\n\n\nJoin together with others as we witness and stand in solidarity with immigrants\, refugees and asylum seekers. Signs provided or bring your own.\n\n\nOn the second Tuesday of the month\, the ICOM (Interfaith Coalition for Immigration) vigil takes place in the shadow of the Bishop Whipple Building in person and on zoom. Every Wednesday for over 20 years—rain\, shine or below zero temps—activists in the Twin Cities have gathered to stand in solidarity with all those affected by U.S. militarism and to call for peace.

We will begin at 6:30 AM with a group fajr and Qunoot prayer at Senator Klobuchar’s office (for those that observe)\, and then we will walk together at around 6:50/7 AM to banner the bridge over 35W during morning traffic. 🪧 \nSenator Klobuchar has refused to call for a ceasefire even as 14\,000+ have been slaughtered by Israel. As we reach the 50th day of the genocide\, let’s send a bold message: dawn or dusk\, day or night\, we will be out on the streets until liberation! 🔥🇵🇸 \nThe protest is open to all even if you don’t start your morning with prayer! \nOrganized by the Free Palestine Coalition
