SUMMARY:Keep Space for Peace Week 2024
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, October 5 – Saturday\, October 12\, 2024Stop Using Space for Genocide and War \nSpace is now key to fighting global wars as space tech coordiantes all war on the ground\, in the sea and in the air. The gap between the commercial and military sectors is purposely being ‘blurred’ as the US-NATO attempt to fill up remaining orbital parking slots for satellites before China and Russia can put more satellites in Lower Earth Orbit (LEO). \nHow are we to pay the enormous cost of dominating space … building launch sites\, satellites\, drones and missiles? \nUS-NATO space tech is playing a leading role in the wars in Ukraine and the genocidal Zionist war in Palestine. The twin infants killed along with their doctor mom in Gaza in August are believed to have been targeted by Israel using Google’s AI Project Numbus. \nThis year during space4peace week we wish to highlight the unprecedented role of satellite technology in targeted killings in Gaza and beyond. \nThanks for all you can do!

SUMMARY:The Indian System
DESCRIPTION:WAMM Second Monday Movie October 14\,2024\, 7:00pm. 4200 Cedar Ave S Minneapolis MN \n“On November 11\,1865\, Medicine Bottle and Little Six were hanged at Fort Snelling\, marking the end of the Dakota in Minnesota. This is their story. Historian David A Nichols PhD explains how the United States government’s “Indian System” was not designed to protect Indians. It had its roots in the growth of the white population and an aggressive culture bent on the acquisition of material wealth. It was therefore “a system to serve white men” not Native Americans. This film is dedicated to the memory of the Dakota 38 plus 2.” \nDirector: Sheldon Wolfchild I Historian: David A. SUMMARY:Demonstration to Indict Blinken
DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, October 17\, 2024\, 12:00 pm\, The Diana E. Murphy Federal Courthouse\, 300 South 4th Street\, Minneapolis MN\, 55415 \n  \nIndict Antony Blinken! \nOn May 24\, 2024\, Secretary of State Antony Blinken reported to Congress\, “We do not currently assess that the Israeli government is prohibiting or otherwise restricting the transport of U.S. humanitarian assistance”. This\, in spite of the fact that both the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the State Department Bureau for Population\, Refugees\, and Migration (PRM) had reached precisely the opposite conclusion in formal written reports. They concluded that Israel was systematically denying and blocking humanitarian food and medical assistance to Gaza in violation of U.S. foreign aid laws. Although both assessments had been submitted to Secretary Blinken in April of 2024\, neither was mentioned in Blinken’s May report to Congress. By concealing the USAID and PRM reports\, Secretary Blinken deceived Congress\, an apparent violation of the Material False Statement law which prohibits falsification or concealment of material facts orally or in writing to the U.S. Congress. \n Join Veterans For Peace to Demand the Indictment of Antony Blinken! \nWhere: The Diana E. Murphy Federal Courthouse\, 300 South 4th Street\, Minneapolis MN\, 55415. \nWhen: Thursday\, October 17\, 2024 at noon. \nHow: By demonstrating in front on the Federal Courthouse\, and hand delivering a formal letter to U.S. Attorney Andrew Luger whose office lies therein\, we will demand that the U.S. Department of Justice impanel a grand jury to investigate criminal violations of federal laws governing the provision of weapons and munitions to Israel as it commits genocide in Palestine. Stop the Deceit! Stop Providing Weapons to Israel! Stop the Genocide! Never Again Means Never Again for Anyone! \n  \nNot able to attend the demonstration? Please call U.S. Attorney Andrew Luger @ 612-664-5600 to demand an investigation into Antony Blinken for deceiving Congress in the furtherance of genocide. Initiated by Veterans For Peace Chapter 27.

UMN. 89 Church St SE\, Minneapolis\, MN 55455 \nAdvocacy is rooted in literacy. It has never been more important to learn about Palestine\, connect in community\, and then speak up in every space we can. Racist erasure thrives on our ignorance when we are cut off from each other and from knowledge. It thrives on replacing principled resistance with apathy and convincing us to despair. Resist this. \nJoin @ejpumn for an evening of connection in community\, liberatory learning\, and a reminder of our certainty of freedom. We all have a role in striving towards liberation.
