Emergency Rally

UMN Divest was made aware that the University of Minnesota Board of Regents would be voting on Regent Mayerons proposed ‘political neutrality’ policy for the University Endowment. This would effectively make the University administration unaccountable for any demands of current and future students for divestment from ANY institution committing war crimes, human rights violations, and genocide. This policy proposal is a direct reaction against the student, staff, and faculty’s demands of divestment from Israel and any entity complicit in war crimes and human rights violations and shows us once again that administration is always on the side of money.

Join UMN Divest outside McNamara at 8:00AM for a press conference and rally to show that the university community does not believe in the neutrality of the endowment and call in to the regents at 612-624-6608 to demand they vote NO to neutrality!
