He served for several years as Consul General of Venezuela in Chicago (United States); before that\, he was part of the foundational editorial team of Aporrea.org. He is the founder and editor of the Venezuelan anti-imperialist news outlet Orinoco Tribune. \nKatrina Kozarek has lived in Venezuela since 2004 where she has actively participated in the conformation of communes and communal systems. She is a long-term collaborator with the National Association of Community and Alternative Media (ANMCLA)\, and a militant of Movimiento Mujeres Por La Vida.
