For 32 years the United Nations General Assembly has voted every year\, almost unanimously\, to end the US economic blockade against Cuba\, which the US has imposed for over 60 years causing considerable hardship on the people of Cuba. In 2021 the US added the designation of Cuba as a “state sponsor of terrorism\,” a false charge that nonetheless leads to more sanctions.
