The Trump administration has disappeared hundreds of Venezuelan immigrants to a notorious CECOT prison in El Salvador, purposely out of the reach of the U.S. justice system.
They are sent there without charges and without due process to be able to refute any charges against them or no idea if they will ever be able to get out.
Speakers:
Gabriela Santos, Human Rights Institute Director, University of Central America in El Salvador.
Brenda Pfahnl, immigration attorney, serves on the board of Cristosal, a Central American human rights organization.
Francisco Segovia, Executive Director at COPAL-MN and local activist.
