Join WAMM and Nukewatch at a PUC public meeting to OPPOSE EXCEL’s application for a 20 year license extension for the Monticello nuclear power plant. \nJust recently it leaked 829\,000 gallons of radioactive tritium-contaminated water entering the Mississippi River endangering the drinking water of Mpls\, St Paul and surrounding suburbs. As the reactor ages\, these leaks are sure to be more frequent. \nCome tell the PUC that Monticello must be denied the license extension and must be shut down!
