The Stonewall Uprising was a protest against police brutality and violence that was led by Black trans women. Taking Back Pride wants to restore the history of pride to TC Pride and all Pride events. No cops\, no capitalism\, no corporations at Pride! Black trans lives matter! Free Palestine! \nTaking Back Pride is an annual protest organized by a coalition of grassroots organizations across the Twin Cities to protest the continued presence of cops and corporations at Twin Cities Pride. It is explicitly anti-cop and anti-corporation\, and is Black-led\, trans-led\, and left-led. \nWHY WE MARCH:\nStonewall was an uprising against police brutality.
