DESCRIPTION:Hiroshima Ceremony of the Cranes\nSunday\, August 6 at 7:30 am\nLyndale Park Peace Garden\n4124 Roseway Rd in Minneapolis \nThe CEREMONY OF THE CRANES (HIROSHIMA COMMEMORATION) has been held at the Lyndale Park Peace Garden since 1985.  It begins with music at 7:30 am and pauses for a moment of silence at 8:15 am\, the time the bomb was dropped on Hiroshima.  Larry Johnson and Elaine Wynne will tell the story of Sadako\, the young runner who folded a 1\,000 paper cranes for peace.
