This workshop is designed to teach kids and families the basic steps of traditional Palestinian dances while using simple choreographies that can be used in protests.This family-friendly interactive training explores the role of dabke in shaping Palestinian identity and culture. Kids and families of all ages and backgrounds are welcome to join! \nMeet us near the newly renovated playground at the corner of E 35th St and 15 Ave S. Bring comfy shoes and wear clothes that will be easy to move in. The workshop is scheduled for one hour (from 5 PM to 6 PM). Bring a snack and your water bottle to stay energized and hydrated! \nPlease register at the link HERE above. A suggested donation of $5 to $15 per person is asked to help support El-Funoun’s on-going work to keep Palestinian dance\, music\, and culture alive and thriving.
