End the Economic War on Cuba Protest

October 28 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Monday, October 28, 2024, 4:00 pm, Minneapolis Federal Building, 4th St and 4th Ave

NO “STATE SPONSOR OF TERRORISM” LIST! For 32 years the United Nations General Assembly has voted every year, almost unanimously, to end the US economic blockade against Cuba, which the US has imposed for over 60 years causing considerable hardship on the people of Cuba. In 2021 the US added the designation of Cuba as a “state sponsor of terrorism,” a false charge that nonetheless leads to more sanctions. This year the UN will be voting on the US sanctions on Cuba on October 29.

We stand with the world. Join with the MN Cuba Committee, Solidarity Committee on the Americas and others to protest this effort to impose the 200-year old Monroe doctrine of US domination of Latin America.
