🇵🇸 Al-Nakba, Arabic for “the catastrophe” refers to the violent expulsion of 750,000+ Palestinians to pave way for Israeli land theft. Hundreds of ethnic cleansing operations made possible the creation of the colonial state of Israel on May 15th, 1948.
🪧 But the Nakba continues! Israel continues to displace Palestinians, mass demolish homes, exile, and deny the 6 million descendents of the 1948 exiles the right to return home—a right enshrined by international law.
