US OUT OF EVERYWHERE! Reportback from the People’s Summit for Korea

Saturday, September 13, 2025, 2 PM, Bartsch Room at Holy Trinity Church, 2730 E 31st St, Minneapolis, MN

Today, August 15, 2025 marks the 80th anniversary of Korean Liberation Day, which signifies the date in 1945 when the Japanese occupation of Korea formally ended.

However, just a few years later the United States would establish its own military occupation of the Korean peninsula. The U.S. occupation continues to this day and prevents self determination for ALL Koreans.

At the end of July the MN Anti-War Committee, along with Women Against Military Madness, sent a delegation of our members to the first ever People’s Summit For Korea in New York City, organized by @nodutdol.

We look forward to presenting a more formal reportback of what we learned at the AWC/WAMM co-hosted educational event on Saturday September 13 at 2PM at Holy Trinity Church in Minneapolis.

We stand in unwavering solidarity with the Korean people’s right to self determination, reunification, and a future free from U.S. imperialism!

U.S. OUT OF KOREA!
CLOSE ALL U.S. BASES!
END SANCTIONS ON NORTH KOREA!
STOP THE U.S. WAR DRILLS IN KOREA!
