More about the Anti War Action Network: Formed after the 2024 UNAC Conference, The Anti War Action Network (AWAN) is a network made up of anti-war, student, and Palestine solidarity activists who have been participating in the national days of action called by US Palestinian Communities Network, Students for a Democratic Society and the National Alliance Against Political and Racist Repression during this upsurge in Palestine organizing to stop Israel’s genocidal campaign in Gaza. Some of us are new to activism whereas others of us have been doing anti-war and Palestine solidarity organizing for decades. We are coming together to call for national days of action because we want to work together to end US aid to Israel and to increase national coordination so we can amplify our protests. We hope new activists and other groups will join us. #freepalestine
