Speakers:
Jesús RodrÃguez-Espinoza is an expert in international relations, Venezuelan politics, and communication. He served for several years as Consul General of Venezuela in Chicago (United States); before that, he was part of the foundational editorial team of Aporrea.org. He is the founder and editor of the Venezuelan anti-imperialist news outlet Orinoco Tribune.
Katrina Kozarek has lived in Venezuela since 2004 where she has actively participated in the conformation of communes and communal systems. She is a long-term collaborator with the National Association of Community and Alternative Media (ANMCLA), and a militant of Movimiento Mujeres Por La Vida. Katrina has been involved in the production of documentaries such as Venezuela Bolivariana: People and Struggle of the Fourth World War (2003) and The Old Man and Jesus: Prophets of Rebellion (2004) with Cooperativa Calle y Media and produced the video series In Commune with Venezuelanalysis.com.
