Join us on Sunday, June 30th at 10 am in downtown Minneapolis (6th Street – between Hennepin & 1st Ave North) for our annual Taking Back Pride March! No cops, no capitalism, no corporations at Pride! Black trans lives matter! Free Palestine!

Taking Back Pride is an annual protest organized by a coalition of grassroots organizations across the Twin Cities to protest the continued presence of cops and corporations at Twin Cities Pride. It is explicitly anti-cop and anti-corporation, and is Black-led, trans-led, and left-led.

WHY WE MARCH:
Stonewall was an uprising against police brutality. Since the lynching and murder of George Floyd, Minneapolis has become ground zero in the fight against police murder, starting with an uprising that shook the country. Queer and trans community members continue to be targets of ongoing police violence, so the fight against police terror is our fight. Additionally, we march for the rights and well-being of our queer & trans siblings across the country and around the globe; we march against anti-trans & anti-gay legislation across the US; we march for a free Palestine.
